Trevian Care II Ky to build three nursing homes in Uusimaa region

Trevian Care II Ky, a real estate equity fund managed by Trevian Asset Management Oy, has signed agreements with OT Kodit Oy to build three care properties in Uusimaa region. The pro-jects have central locations in Mäntsälä, Nurmijärvi and Sipoo municipalities and the nursing home premises with almost 100 beds will be leased by private care operator Onnentäyttymys Oy. In addition to the nursing homes the projects include also apartments for which care services are available based on the residents’ needs.

”We are very happy to be able to cooperate with OT Kodit in order to realize their care concept in which nursing home and apartments are accompanied with e.g. restaurant and mutual recre-ational premises available for all the residents. The concept is also answering to the recent need to combine different forms of care and to enhance the care services offered for the elderly still living in their own homes” tells Maria Söderman, Portfolio Manager at Trevian Asset Manage-ment Oy.

Trevian Care II Ky was launched in June 2014 and the strategy of the fund is to acquire Finnish real estate used by the care sector, day care and other public services. The fund is backed by Finnish institutional investors whose investment commitments allow building up a portfolio ex-ceeding 100 M€.
