Trevian Care II Ky acquired a care property in Hämeenlinna

Trevian Care II Ky, a real estate equity fund managed by Trevian Asset Management Oy, has ac-quired a care property located in Hämeenlinna on 9 December 2015. The property is a care home Villa Ilovuori which has 25 beds for mental rehabilitation. The property has been constructed in 2014 and it is leased to Esperi Care Oy.

“Villa Ilovuori is an excellent addition to our portfolio and we are very happy to cooperate with Esperi in this transaction. After the new acquisitions made during this autumn, our fund owns now 23 properties. Two thirds of the portfolio value is derived from nursing homes and one third from day care properties” tells Portfolio Manager Maria Söderman at Trevian Asset Management Oy.

Trevian Care II Ky was launched in June 2014 and the strategy of the fund is to acquire Finnish real estate used by the care sector, day care and other public services. The fund is backed by Finnish institutional investors whose investment commitments allow building up a portfolio ex-ceeding 100 M€.
