Finland’s first business park Spektri renewed its corporate structure and chose Trevian as the management company

The current owners of the Spektri business park – Mutual Pension Insurance Companies Varma and Etera, together with the Yle Pension Fund – established Spektri Kiinteistöt Ky that has purchased the real estate companies Pilotti, Trio and Kvintti of Spektri.

The recent arrangement aims to harmonize the corporate structure of the business park as well as to enhance its operating methods and ability to serve better both tenants and investors. Along with the new structure, the investors have chosen Trevian Asset Management Oy as the management company of the business park.

Spektri is the first Business Park in Finland. It consists of five separate real estate companies and is located in Espoo, within the Helsinki metropolitan area. All of the current investors are original founding partners. The total area of Spektri is almost 50,000 m2, and the leasable area approximately 35,000 m2, making it one of the largest business parks in Finland. Among the tenants the IT sector and medical companies are well represented due to the business park’s location in the Otaniemi technology hub. http://spektri.fi/spektri/.

“Through the new corporate structure, Spektri’s operations are streamlined, making the lease of real estate more efficient,” says Ilkka Tomperi, Investment Director for Varma real estate

Borenius Attorneys Ltd has acted as legal advisor in the arrangement.
