Trevian advised BlackRock on the bidding, acquisition, and transformation of the historic Customs House in 2018. Trevian added value by selecting top consultants for design and cost estimations and securing a construction company. The project required negotiations with authorities for listed building approvals and zoning changes to allow office and retail spaces.
Despite challenges, construction stayed on track and within budget. 1/3 of the premises were pre-let, supported by a leasing concept. Award-winning marketing positioned the property as a modern luxury office while preserving its historic charm, delivering results that exceeded the owner’s expectations.
